The Guthega Alpine Hotel may be one of the more convenient lodgings skirting Perisher Blue, but unless you enjoy being shadowed by its inhospitable owners, it's a lovely nanny-state that you would be better off avoiding. I visited the GAH for dinner and used their over snow transport. The owner of the GAH was very condescending and antagonistic towards myself and friends. I will NEVER spend another cent at the GAH. DONT GO HERE!! more
