We stayed in a one bedroom loft apartment which was lovely and clean and had spectacular views. The twin beds for the children were in the loft, which overlooked the living area, meaning the adults couldn't really watch TV after the kids were in bed. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment with marvelous views of the mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful. Apartment is tastefully furnished and clean. There is also a sofa-bed in the living room which is very comfortable. Will definitely return. more
We booked an apartment one month ahead of the school holidays. Friendly service, clean and excellent view over the mountain. Thredbo is a very easy family friendly resort to stay in with children of all ages. more
Lantern has recently been refurbished and the apartments are wonderful! The view we had from our bedroom window and our loungeroom/balcony was absolutely marvelous - the best in Thredbo as Lantern is so high up the mountain. The service was great and the rooms were good too, all the amenities you would need and a lovely modern bathroom and bedroom.... more
We have just returned from a 3 day stay at the Lantern Apartments. We bought a 3 nights for 2 deal through the Thredbo accommodation site and paid A$330. Whilst Thredbo is a great location for walkers, the Lantern was not always an easy place to return to after a hike. You must be very fit and first must climb... more
