Booked to stay there one night (Saturday) and left credit card details to secure booking. Received a call on Friday and was told they have given our room to someone else because basically they were paying more as they were staying more than one night. I think it is very inconsiderate and only had a day to try and find alternate accomodation (on valentines day weekend which is almost impossible). I have been there a few times but after this will never stay there again. When i made the booking i was also asked my age and the age of the people who would be staying as they were scared that we would do something to the room. more

I have just retruned from a weekend away in Toukley, on the Central Coast of New South Wales. The purpose for our trip was to attend a family celebration and my partner and I decided to stay at Toukley Motel.
Having called around a few places in Toukley, we decided to book into Toukley Motel as we found the owner / manager (i think his name was Arthur) delightful and helpful on the telephone and being located in the heart of Toukley, it enabled us to get to and from our celebration quite easliy.
We found the Motel easliy (just near the main shopping strip in Toukley) and was greeted by Arthur on arrival. We were shown to our room on the 1st floor. We had great views across the lake and the room was really clean and comfortable. It had a double bed with shower, toilet etc, tea and coffee making facilities, television and air-conditioning. For only $75 per night we thought this was a REAL BARGIN.
