“Oldish and Tired, Needs a Makeover”

From the road it looks great. The room was big enough. The queen size bed was an old fashioned type mattress and very hard. Basic standard inclusions. The interior of the rooms needs a modern makeover. They still even had the hole in the front wall to put your breakfast tray in. Is always a worry someone will break in... More

Very clean and tidy place. Average price for a decent room. Not the newest decor but none the less it was very clean and lots of room. Close to take away (walking distance) and clubs, across from the water and the room even had a bath which is always nice after a long drive.

My partner and I stayed here overnight. Chosen because it had a spa bath. Very reasonably priced.Bathroom very clean and loads of products and extra towels. Friendly receptionist. We were always looking for a reasonable overnight stop on the way tp the woodford folk festival.
