We wanted to get away for few days from our hectic schedule. I was considering various places in the North of Auckland and called them directly. Gloria answered all the questions and made me feel welcome. Originally we booked for 3 nights, but ended up extending for one more, as my wife just fell in love with the lodge and its location.

The place is romantic and hosts Gloria and Geoff are very warm and welcoming. We spent most of the evenings with them talking for hours over multiple glasses of wines and canapés. The hosts provided us with wealth of information about the area and guided us to various vineyards for lunch.

The Lodge overlooks the bay, and we enjoyed sitting on the patio having our breakfast, while watching the sunrise and savoring freshly baked goodies by Gloria. We also had dinner with them, and the lamb was terrific.

We would love to come back and enjoy the hospitality of Gloria and Geoff while relaxing at the Waimana Point Lodge. more
