We LOVED the Bancroft house, appointments, innkeeper, and location. We were the only guests that day. It was impeccably clean, comfortable and convenient. Mike made every effort to help us out. I stayed here with my girlfriend for one night while visiting Longwood Gardens. The location is wonderful. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast. I have stayed at many, and this one is outstanding. Rooms are beautifully appointed, and the Christmas decorations were tasteful and warm. Mike is a gracious host. We'll be back.

Liked it. Selected suite because I needed to work, but the second room is another bedroom. Owner very accommodating and rearranged furniture to make a table a desk. Bed VERY high and a bit hard for my taste, but all in all, a nice B&B within walking distance of restaurants and shops in the area.

Pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Bancroft. Our room was IMMACULATE and very roomy (we stayed in the suite). Mike, the innkeeper was friendly and very professional.
