We were there for a getaway weekend, and so my husband could play baseball. We reviewed the info on the website and our expectations were met and exceeded. The house is lovely and comfortable, the breakfasts are good. The grounds are beautiful (complete with farm animals and friendly dogs!). We hiked, played baseball, played golf in neighboring town, met really nice people. We could have ridden horses or fished but we ran out of time (next time). Take food. Immediate areas surrounding the B&B close early and if you wait til late, you will be hungry! Great time!

Although it's a neat concept if you love baseball, this is a FARM there are muddy dogs and chickens running about. During our visit, the innkeepers seemed ill-prepared -- arriving late without apology, not having turned on the heat in anticipation of our arrival (Mid-October - we wore hats in the house until they arrived), failing to provide more than one towel. It was uncomfortably cold all night. We were astonished when the innkeeper called us intimating that we had stolen a bathmat, towel, and washcloth . The scenery is lovely, the home is quaint, the breakfast is adequate, but cross this off your list unless you enjoy feeling like an afterthought.
