My son and I stayed at the Best Western in Milroy for 2 nights in February 2009. I was very impressed with this two year old hotel that is located in rural PA on the way to State College and Penn State. The room was clean, fresh, and good looking with very comfortable mattresses on both beds and included a 3ft refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom was superb with large granite countertops and even a spacious curved shower curtain rod. The hotel seemed to have good sound damping construction as we couldn't hear doors slamming or the elevator even though we were located in the center of the hotel and just 2 rooms from the elevator AND the hotel was booked to capacity with high school swimmers, wrestlers, & their families for tournaments at PSU for the weekend. There was a basic but decent grab-and-go style breakfast buffet that was available very early in the morning. The Best Western Milroy just 25 minutes outside of State College was excellent value for the money... more
