We stayed here for two nights- a mini Amish vacation to get away from life for a while. The farm is absolutely gorgeous, and we were met by about 10 friendly kittens. We had the Loft room, and it was a little small for 3 adults and 2 children. Yvonne did have a nice new pack and play which we... more

We had a wonderful time. The owners are so friendly & helpful. Beautiful country setting. We took our Grandson and he loved it. Wonderful for a family kid friendly vacation. We are going again. more

We all had a great time here. It is heaven for children, with kittens, goats (including one who has been trained to go down a slide), donkeys, chickens, playhouses, swings and a hay ride. Wayne and Yvonne are very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were hearty (if not exactly heart healthy!) and tasted great. Yes, as the prior reviewer... more

We stayed in July 2007 and won't go back. The B&B is aged and shows it. The room we were put in was full of Victoriana, ruffles, dolls, etc which were all dusty - there was so much clutter in the room it would have been impossible to keep it all clean. The room was tiny and the bathroom was... more

My wife and I together with our small dog stayed at Green Acres and found it to be an exceptionally pleasant experience. We were only able to spend two nights there, but by the end of that time, when we said goodby to our hosts,Wayne and Yvonne, we felt like we were leaving old friends whom we hope to see... more

We came here with 3 children(6 years old, 2 years old, and 5 month old). We had the Loft Room and did not realize that we would need to climb up so many stairs. Somewhat challenging when you have to carry 2 children, luggage, etc up all of the steep stairs. The room was smaller than anticipated. Watch your head... more

We enjoyed our stay with Wayne and Yvonne. They are a good source of local information and inside scoop on the Amish. They've been in the business a good long time and it shows. They run a tight ship and expect their guests to toe the line. Breakfast was delicious and served on time. The room we stayed in (Rose)... more

Went with 2 children and 2 grandparents to this B&B in the Amish country. Given the setting, it is what you would expect for the price. Delicious family style breakfasts are served at communal tables--and you do feel like you're dining with many families (all with children.) If you're allergic--don't come. There were many cats and kittens roaming around the... more

Great place for kids. They loved the cats and kittens on the front porch, the hay ride, feeding the breakfast leftovers to the donkeys and gathering eggs in the barn. The two playhouses are adorable. The house is charming, and the kids loved the bunk beds. However, if you're looking for first rate accommodations, I recommend you look elsewhere. There... more

This was our first trip to Lancaster and it was very enjoyable. Yvonne and Wayne were very friendly and extremely knowledgable about the area. The room was nicely decorated and the evenings are peaceful. Pets are allowed at the farm which my dog fully enjoyed, she chased kittens, played with the labrador, met a pal donkey and really went crazy... more
