My son and i needed a hotel for his weekend Tournament and this hotel fit our needs all the way. The beds were a little hard but most hotels are. The stay was quite, in town, and close to the ball fields. Hotel personnel were very nice and helpful with places to eat or go. The next time we are... More

Staff to busy watching game shows to care about you. Room dirty and smelled terrible ! Not offered any other accommodations after traveling 5 hours. I would have smelt worse after being in that room ! Disgusting !!! Go somewhere else !! I could not even walk into the room !! I don't live like this at home and was... More

Had my husband's 50th surprise birthday party there 02/23/13. The staff was very attentive and helpful to our every need and the food was superb! The Isaac Meyer room was furnished and decorated in the Victorian era which made the atmosphere very elegant. I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a small get-together. Very private and virtually no... More

Dirty rooms as well as public areas such that extremely low wattage bulbs, provided in all light fixtures, couldn't hide the terrible need for refurbishment. Carpet had huge terrible stains in hallways. For this we paid $ 80.00. Use the Holiday Inn express in Lebanon, Pa as possible alternative. On the positive side no bedbugs were sighted and the staff... More

This is the #1 hotel in Myerstown because it is the ONLY hotel there, and for quite a few miles around. Friends who know the area and have stayed there say that the family that previously operated it and did a great job, apparently sold it, so now it is chain operated. While the grounds are beautiful and the restaurant... More

Perhaps it was because we thought we were bringing the dog; perhaps the better rooms were all taken because of a gun show being held at the motel. But we were put in a separate building behind the restaurant, and our room smelled damp and musty. The ceiling was low and the room was dark. We won't stay there again.

They charged my debit card twice and messed up my bank account. Spoke with the staff who said they had no record of the charges. Caused me a big headache and time lost between the bank and communicating with the hotel. There was a nasty odor in the hallways. Poor lighting (which is funny given the name.) Carpets in the... The Lantern Lodge offers terrific customer service! Jeff, Tambra and Trish are fantastic at follow-up, understanding customer needs and delivering great service! Notably during conferences, they work hard to make sure the guest experience is great. The Lodge also offers top notch food and works to deliver menus that are fun and of quality.

The Lantern Lodge offers large, clean, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. The public areas of the hotel need some work for sure, but my room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was obviously freshly laundered. I had appetizers one night in the Lantern Lodge lounge and paid a ridiculously low $2.95 for an appetizer... More
