We were caught in a snowstorm and were attracted by the offer of WiFi in apparently a budget operation.

We found a newly-refurbished room with great bed and pillows, new furniture and new wall and floor coverings. The bathroom was old but OK. It had a small but good TV. The room was large and had a table with chairs (often not found and necessary).

Downside - two missing light bulbs, poor towels, but worst - perhaps this room, alone - an awful smell - like old urine.

Conclusion - this unit rents for Motel 6 prices but offers a larger room, better pillows, and WiFi. If I am in this area again, I will try them again. When checking out I complained about the smell and the desk clerk seemed shocked and said he would look into it immediately because they are trying hard to make the motel good.

They are a stand alone - not part of a chain.
