This inn was superb. We stayed in the Victorian Room which was pretty pricey-the other rooms seemed more reasonable and if we stay again we will just chose a cheaper room. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the price...this bed and breakfast had the BEST common rooms... more

We stayed there twice this year, in the Victorian room the first time (with Jacuzzi) and in the Amethyst Room the second time (we wanted the Victorian but it was booked). Everything was great about this place. The house and the grounds are beautiful and peaceful, even the train that goes by on weekends didn't bother us at all, in fact, it only added to the overall appeal: the white puffy steam rising through the trees takes you back in time, makes everything look mystical and only more peaceful. This is a terrific place, and most reasonably priced. We especially appreciated the privacy and the woodsy environment. The service was excellent and the food was so delcious and plentiful. Judy, the Inn keeper, is charming and very helpful. It's an easy walk to New Hope, but you'll need a ride back up the hill with all your packages. Easy... more
