“A sweet stay in Shadyside”

Shadyside Inn is terrific. I wish I could stay longer. The location is perfect for walking to Walnut Street and CMU campus, it's right next to a convenient bus stop and the suites are awesome. When planning a visit to Carnegie Mellon University, this is a great choice. We had a 2-br so we could bring grandma to our son's graduation. Lovely accommodations. Extremely friendly staff. Goodie bag and M&Ms with Pitt colors were special treats. Hail to Pitt! We'll be back next year for daughter's CMU graduation.

We attended our niece's graduation from Pitt this weekend and stayed in a lovely one bedroom suite. Other family members were across the street in a two bedroom suite. Suite offered split-level and good distribution of rooms which allowed for guest privacy. Also provided kitchen to allow for own cooking. Convient access to shopping and dining. Would repleat visit in the future.

Great place to have extended stay, especially if you plan on shopping on Walnut or if you want to visit the museums. They gave a nice little welcome bag with tasty muffins, popcorn, granola bars. Room service was good too,
