When I stayed this time the hotel was under construction. The staff is always great here and this time was no different. I was not disturbed by any noise. The rooms were due for updating but they were clean. Great location and good prices.

One of our regular haunts, it was getting dowdy so needed some work, but is now converting to a holiday inn with full construction whilst still charging guests the full rate is very disappointing. End of the line, but there is not other BW in the city as I understand. next time will pay another $50 and get a good... More

there was blood on our sheets and pillow case. when it was brought to the managers attention she blamed it on my daughter. said it was fresh blood! did not offer anything to us just told us to call when we came back. we will not be back that was unacceptable. the are also renovating so it was a mess.... I had stayed here for 1 week and leter extended the stay to 2 weeks. Besides the early checkin they have a fab Shuttle service to downtown and airport which makes paying an extra buck completely worth it.(And as the Public transport is not "so good" as the people say it is). Hotel provided a very nice, safe enviorment and provides a very good value for the room rate. The nightly "Managers Reception" includes adult beverages and is a pleasant way to end the day and start the evening. Staff is very pleasant.

We came to Pittsburgh for one night before visiting my family for Christmas and chose this hotel based on location and price. Its wasn't the cleanest or most updated place, but we only paid $80 right before the holiday, so I can't really complain. The staff were pretty nice too. location and price were good. room was very clean. the bed was not comfortable at all. probably old since it sagged in the middle. people were friendly at the desk. was also able to checkin early when we arrived.
