We spent 3 nights at the Parador this Fall. Ed was a gracious and accomadating host who also cooks wonderful breakfasts. The Inn is located just north of Hienz Field. The area is being regentrified and has a nice feel to it. Ed is doing a great job with this gem of a victorian home. The garden is wonderful. The... More

My wife and I stayed there a couple weeks ago for a Steelers game. Not only did the Steelers win, but our accommodations were wonderful. We were travelling with my brother and sister-in-law, who had stayed there before and had a great experience. We came to the consensus that The Parador is the best kept secret in Pittsburgh! If you're... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night for a Steelers game and found the place and people to be great! We stayed in the top room of the main building and that was wonderful. Just know that there are a lot of stairs to climb. Breakfast was also great. Would recommend to everyone! More

The Inn keeper was very unwelcoming and there was no hot water, plus we had a leaky pipe in the bathroom. We stayed 1hour and left, we asked the Inn Keeper to discount the rate,we said we would shower at the YMCA, he told us to leave. We were fine with that,we couldn't face having breakfast with such a unfriendly guy. More

I am totally at a loss for this review. The guests booked the same day on their way to Florida. They arrived a little late and wanted to grab a bite to eat. I gave them a quick tour of the property and a quick check-in so they could make one of the local restaurants before it closed. When I... More

Stayed on a trip to see the Steelers (if you have to ask you don't want to know!) for a 3 night stay. Checked in by Ed the host and given a tour of facilities and information on the town and local restaurants. Lovely room and very comfortable. Location very convenient for the NFL stadium and also not a bad... More

The Parador Inn is a lovely place to stay. I was here for almost 2 weeks on business, staying in a large upstairs suite in the carriage house. The Inn is an old mansion that has been wonderfully done as a B&B. Ed offers helpful advice on restaurants and local attractions. Breakfast is terrific- 3 course every day, with yogurt... More

I am the Innkeeper of the Stony Point Bed and Breakfast in Tyrone Pennsylvania. I started as Innkeeper in March of this year..I asked Ed via email for advice about being an Innkeeper. The Inn keeper, Ed, is charming and really makes you feel like you are visiting his home which you are but you get the sense that you are really welcome there. Loved the furniture, the Jamaican decor and music. Quite a lot of detail and work went into restoring this lovely home! Our room was very comfortable, a bit noisy... More

We stayed here just the one night while passing through Pennsylvania but it was the perfect place for a stopover. We found Ed to be friendly, generous and welcoming and Deronda couldn't have been more charming! We shared the huge suite at the top of the house with our kids and all had more than enough space and were very... More

I love to stay at B&Bs! Sadly, I did not love this one... Our family stayed at the Parador Inn for our nephew's wedding celebration which was held on site. The lodgings were kitschy but quaint and the fireplace in the room was really lovely during the September cold snap! The notice in the room asked for dietary restrictions so... More

I take Innkeeping very seriously, particularly hosting weddings. I only have one chance to make the wedding as special as the bride deserves. That is why I get as many details taken care of ahead of time. The guest rooms were assigned by the bride ahead of time. When the grandmother arrived and my manager took her to her room,... More
