We stayed at this "campground" over Memorial Day weekend and it was the worst camping experience I have had! EVERYTHING is overpriced from the sites themselves to the store goods. The "campground" is crowded with spaces being so close to each other you have no privacy. There are only two bath houses in the whole huge campground with 2 male/2... More

I have stayed with my best friend and 2 small children twice in the teddy bear cabin (2009 - 2012). Not much changed in that time frame except perhaps the cabin was worn down more, more scuff marks, more dirt, ants and the porch roof leaks now. I do not think that the pricing reflects the wear and tear that... More

Our family of two adults and two children, stayed here in a 30' motorhome: site B20. The site is level. Like most private campgrounds - its basically a parking lot. I wasn't thrilled that our neighbor's blackwater drained a few feet from our picnic table - - - but the campground is very clean and the staff was very friendly.... More

We found bear run campground on the website and the pictures they post of the cabins make them look very nice. The only pictures on the website were of most expensive log cabins, they should the ones like the one we rented to, because then people would have an idea what they were in for. When we arrived to the... More

First time and last time. We were there this weekend and from the beginning I was not impressed. We checked in paid 6.00 for 6 small logs had to figure Out where to get the wood we bought. Then drive around pulling a trailer on a narrow road trying to find our spot with no help at all. Then we... More

After a trip down south this was our chosen location for visiting our daughter in Pittsburgh. The camp seemed like a resort, from the website's self description. It was, in fact, little more than a parking place w/ a pool & bath house. Was the place clean? Yes. Are the staff nice? Yes. With no exception, however, this was the... More

This place is basically impossible to drive thru if you have a large rv or pulling a boat forget it .Also all the campsites are on the side of a hill which is basically impossible to level your unit. Its a real good place to damage your rv easily, low trees, cars ect parked on the narrow roads. all the roads... For a girls' weekend getaway, 3 of us stayed in the Mini Lodge. This was a permanently-placed trailer, not a cabin as we expected. However, we liked our accommodations. Everything was clean. The Mini Lodge had a futon that can be used as a bed, a booth-style dining area, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower/tub combo, and 2 bedrooms. The... More

We camped on Labor Day weekend and it ended up being on of the hottest days of the season. Our electricity in out RV kept tripping. The smell of sewage was by far the worst I've ever smelled. It was so crowded and jammed in. They do not have a no smoking policy at the playground or pool area(my child... More
