Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff upon check-in. Very informative about fireworks display and where to watch them. My only complaint (and subsequent ding in ratings) was the food. The wife eyeballed the restaurant and lounge, and said that she got a bad "vibe". In fact, she said she startled the bartender. Their conversation insinuated that it wasn't a very "happening"... more

The outside of the hotel is run down, but the rooms themselves were ok. They were clean and the hotel staff was helpful. We stayed due to the proximity of the ski resorts. Also the resturant in the hotel had a decent breakfast menu. A complaint is that there were not any in room movies. Overall the hotel served its... more

The hotel was pretty old looking from the outside. The rooms seemed like they were renovated in the last few years. The heater/AC unit was loud and was difficult maintaining a comfortable temperature. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. The staff at the hotel were friendly and knowledgable. The restaurant there was nothing spectacular but it got... more

This Holiday Inn was exactly what was expected, that is, perfect over night accommodation for visiting Falling Water and at a bargain price. Check in was quick and friendly and the room clean, spacious and with amenities that made the stay all the more comfortable. Breakfast was similarly efficient, inexpensive and with friendly wait staff. We were given printed directions... more

There was a skiers' party going on until 3AM. People standing in the hallway and talking loudly. Didn't get much sleep. Lost of other hotels in Somerset -- AVOID this one. more

What a wonderful stay! Rooms were freshly remodeled and clean. Restaurant had good food and service for a reasonable price. Beds were fresh and comfortable with good pillows and linnens. Also not far from the flight 93 crash site. more

Stayed overnight while on business. Clean hotel and rooms. Wireless internet was great in the room. Bed was comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. Although it is an older hotel it has gone through updates and is well maintained. During my stay there was painting going on in the stairwells. The lounge in the hotel is a little sketchy with... more

Stayed on first floor. The hallway smelt so bad with cigerette smoke and I'm a smoker. Not to many resturants around except for fast food. Wouldn't stay for more than one night. more

After staying at several less-than-desirable motels along the PA turnpike over the years, this time we decided to book our overnight ahead of time. We chose this Holiday Inn because of positive reviews on here. We took advantage of a special 14-day advance-purchase deal on Holiday Inn's Web site, so we got one night in a king-bed room for $58... more
