Wow! This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. When we first walked in, the bathroom stunk and the room smelled liked animals. They do allow pets which I didn't realize when booking. The rug was so filthy we wanted to vomit. There was a red substance splattered on one wall and the windows and screens were filthy.... more

I stayed at this hotel under new managment. Yes the room had been refurbished ( though very cheaply) and there was only one light to read by! I took a group of guests from a university in the Netherlands to see a bluegrass band gig at the Autoport on 12/4/08. The guests were all PhD students and professors. The waitress we had was very kind and helpful, and needed to see ID for each guest, which is understandable. She didn't understand what to do with driver's licenses... more

The place has new owners (and a new attitude) so anyone that stayed here prior to 2008 will be in for a surprise. I was staying here for a football game (very cold weekend) and after the game, there was a tapas menu, open fires and musical entertainment (a great band!)...I immediately booked for next year!
