I have stayed in this Microtel 4 times this year in Sept and Oct, each for two night stays during the week. I also stayed there twice last year. Everything in the place, including furniture, carpets etc. is worn out and needed to be replaced years ago. I bet it hasn't had a makeover in 10 years. The housekeeping is... more

Impossible to sleep with all the immature partyers screaming and banging the walls until 4 a.m. Even if change rooms or floors you are haunted with this. One day our room wasn't even cleaned! Once complained- the staff acted defensively. NEVER USE THIS HOTEL!! ( unless you are an 18 year old boy). more

This motel proved to be a perfect anchor ~ a very peaceful location despite being within short driving distance to Longwood Gardens and the many, many historic sites situated in Philadelphia's southwest suburbs, including Brandywine Battlefield. It is also a nice gateway from the north or west to enter into Delaware's much underrated and under-appreciated historic sites. We stayed at... more

Agree with others, hotel is showing age... below average etc. Our first room the toilet did not flush and there was NO hot water, the handle to the shower broke off in our hand. We had to move to another room. The breakfast is not worth looking at, much less eating. No coffee maker in room. Overall not worth a... more

We've stayed at Microtel's numerous times and at this location in particular. This one is really starting to show it's age.The carpets were stained, the bathroom floor was dirty, and the smell of nicotine in the bathroom was noticeable(possibly coming in from the toilet exhaust vent from elswhere in the hotel). The staff was nice and it's not the worst place to stay,it's just... more

This is an average Microtel. The price was very reasonable for the Philly area. No major problems with our 1 night stay. more

I have stayed here before and had a problem with the noise level, I spoke to manangement and they sounded concerned with my complaint and ask me to come back to see the changes. Well again there were young adults drunk running the halls AND parking lot up until all hours of the night partying ...that is great if I... more

Never again will I stay in these hotels. The entrance was clean and spotless, but my room was disgusting. All I can tell you is that you must check the sheets. I swear they had not been changed. Stains that you could not miss. Arrived around 1 am from a long ride I slept on the chair that was in... more

Not sure what room the person stayed in that said everything was new. I thought my room looked a bit retro '70's and it wasn't because of any recent decorating. I stay a lot in the metro Philly area, and yes, the price here was below average. But I also think the overall quality was below average. The desk area... more

Location a little tricky to find. Front desk clerk was very unwelcoming. I don't think he spoke more than 2 sentences. I dealt with other clerks later at the desk and they were more helpful. The TV on top of the wardrobe was pretty annoying, very few channels. Ice machine on our floor didn't work. Housekeeping removed towels once and... more
