This hotel is close to Wal-mart and lots of restaurants. Right off of hwy 30 it was easy to travel to Gettysburg, Lancaster, and Hershey. Breakfast had a variety of cereal, toast, English muffins, and waffles you can make yourself. Large seating area for breakfast and a computer and printer we used during our stay was in the lobby. more

Looks bad from the outside, which is in one of the worst locations you can imagine. The only positive is that the inside was redone and thus still clean. Overpriced, poorly located, dumpy hotel. One star with three-star prices. more

I traveled with family to this hotel for a weekend trip to Gettysburg and the Carlisle GM Nationals. We were very happy with our clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff, including housekeeping. It was quiet. The extra sink and mirror setup outside the full bath was an added bonus. We spent one night at the Best Western Westgate in York, PA while visiting family. We weren't expecting much - just your garden variety chain hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed here four nights while on a bus tour of areas around York. Even though we arrived later than expected because of traffic, the manager stayed until we arrived and welcomed us to the motel and served us punch and cookies. The rooms were clean and the service was excellent. A very good continental breakfast was served each morning.... more
