I am glad that I did not read other reviews before staying at the Seacrest! Complaints of old buildings, lack of ventilation, and no refunds are a joke! All hotels in the historical district are built this way and cannot be changed. If you change your mind last minute about your room, no refunds means just that! I stayed here... more

we felt like we were in a travelacity commercial. the innkeepper said she was booked but we were the only ones there...for good reason. we awoke at 8:00am to the sound of hammering and sawing right above us. they were remodeling and at no time could we relax in our room during the day. the room was way over priced... more

The room was small but nice. The bed was very confortable and the bathroom was big & clean! The TV in the room works only for DVD's and our TV/DVD tray didn't work correctly so I went down and told the woman manager about it and she tried the DVD's in their player & it was fine, but her husband(co-manager)... more

The Seacrest is not a 5 star hotel by any means, but if nothing else is available it is tolerable. It was clean and had the basic necessities except a phone in the room. This inn looks impressive on its website, but don't be fooled....they must have taken the picture at least 10 years ago before the facade was faded and the hotel overrun. The rooms are tiny, and appear to never have been refurbished since it was originally built, which I'm guessing was the 60's or 70's. Everything about the place just felt... more
