We spent a night at the Ashley house in the "ROSE" room. We just returned from our first trip to Block Island over Memorial Weekend. We chose The Ashley House based on two things: (1) price (2) reviews on Trip Advisor. The Ashley House is located in the same building as Aldo's restaurant. We did not find noise from the restaurant to be a problem overall. The only instances we did were more that our room overlooked where the dumpsters were, as did most rooms. Occassionally you would hear someone out there but generally not really early or really late. The Ashley House on Block Island is close to the main shops and restaurants in Old Harbor, but set back on a quiet side street.
