The Sailor's Loft is a lovely apartment in Bristol Rhode Island. In the converted Carriage House of a historic early 1800's house this Loft is a refreshing option for visitor's to the Bristol area. More independent than a B&B and more spacious than a hotel, you get a bright and airy space with a lovely view of the Bay. With options for a couple of nights or longer, the Sailor's Loft was perfect for our weekend visit to Newport, without the noisy crowds of Newport. Just blocks from some of the finest restaurants in RI, and New England, you'll not need the well equipped kitchenette. We walked around the corner every morning to pick up fresh pastries at the bakeries, made coffee in the Loft and enjoyed a liesurely breakfast without the idle chatter of a B&B. The Loft is spotlessly clean, the decor is simple, contemporary and very comfortable. Plenty of blankets or AC, whichever you would need, but we slept with the windows open.
