Stayed here back in 2004 and forgot to write a review. This location is situated in Middletown which is the next town over from Newport on the backside. It is about 5 miles from downtown and around what I call all the strip malls and shopping centers and chain restaurants and close to the Navy Base. If you hit this... more

Great location to visit the Mansions! The beds were all of the memory foam, we loved it! Seriously considering buying one for our next bed. It was a little noisy the nights we stayed, there were teenagers and an ice-machine near our room (we are starting to sound like old people!) The room was a little old, but kept in... more

We booked 1 night here at the last minute (48 hours out) in order to attend a local outdoor event. Due to a prolonged period of substantial rain, the event was cancelled a day before it was scheduled to occur. Given this notice, we called the hotel within 24 hours of arrival to explain our situation and cancel our reservation.... more

The rooms are small and there are tons of renovations currently being done (which are greatly needed). However, this motel should not be opened during these renovations as they were very distracting and disturbing. We stayed for three nights. Our room was cleaned only once during this time and we had to call down for towels every morning because they... more

This place wasn't THAT bad. After reading the earlier reviews before going I was definately afraid of the place. My room was non-refundable, so I really had no choice but to try it on my 1 night stay in the Bristol/Newport area. The room was clean and smelled fresh. Bed was fine, mattress was a bit stiff for my taste... more

Have just returned from the Ramada Newport Inn and Spa. It was not a pleasant experience. The hotel is old. It is supposed to have been refurbished but I dont know where. Our room was way, way overpriced. It was small dark, and old. the only positive thing was that they have Tempurpedic beds and even that didnt help. Our window... more

We stayed here in 2004 and enjoyed the hotel. The best feature was the TEMPUR-PEDIC mattress on both the beds - never slept so well in my life! The hotel was in the middle of a renovation so the halls were a bit cramped and long, but we found it satisfactory. The room was large and we had no problems... more

Just returned from a Christmas trip to Newport. Misleading website. This place was not what we thought it would be considering ramada has a pretty good reputation. Arrived to find no power. Hung in lobby for 2 hours till power was restored. Never even was offered a drink for the inconvenience. Hallways were so narrow we could barely fit our... more

Went to Newport for a wedding and booked this on-line under the name "Newport Inn & Spa"--no reference to the fact is was a seedy Ramada Inn. Also had the blocked view other reviewers noted--housekeeping nonexistant. The carpeting was sticky and we ended up using bath towels as makeshift rugs for bathroom floor. Different websites picture this as a "spa"--it's... more

This place is the absolute pits. I am not a picky person and this was the grossest experience ever! The refrigerator had food in it and there was a pair of dirty underwear in the room - no lie! more
