Be aware- Polly's looks better on the internet than in reality- acceptable in a pinch but not great. My daughter and I confirmed 4 nights with a two night deposit paid in advance- Polly does not take credit cards. She confirmed a room with two beds and a private bath- I have her email confirming that- no indication the bath was in the hall, not in the room itself. I thought that should have been clarified- or mentioned on the website, but wasn't going to push- however, that wasn't the biggest problem. She doesn't have six rooms- she has two- so it's a small space- when we saw the big fuzzy cat in the living room right next to the stairs I knew there would be a problem as we are both allergic to cats- there was no mention of a family pet living in this small family cottage anywhere on her website. i told her immediately this reservation may not work out- she suggested we take some allergy medication (just what we don't like to do unless we absolutely have to)- we were in the room... more
