Stayed mid week in July with my hubby and three kids, 13, 12 & 8. The weather was horrible but not to be any fault of the hotel. When I asked the women or "girls" at the front desk what we could do with a family on a stormy day they didn't even look up from behind the desk when... more

We are very sorry for your bad experience here. Our girls who work in the office are usually very friendly and accomodating. The cell phone was found!! It had been sitting on the back counter in the office, and apparently was put under the counter way in the back, (not lost, just misplaced) We promptly sent it back to it's...

Not a family freindly atmosphere place at all after dark. Grossly disappointed with this place. For $250 a night plus, you get a bunch of obnoxious guys having a drinking contest in the middle of the day in a place reserved for all guests of the hotel to sit and BBQ or just relax, RIGHT NEXT TO THE LIFEGUARD. And... more

The Sandy Shore is exactly what they say - a MOTEL - not a 5 Star resort. I read reviews on here before my stay this past weekend, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when i arrived. My 5 girlfriends and I rented an apartment, which was very spacious (3 full sized beds) and included a... more

This was my second time staying at the sandy shores hotel. First time staying in a double queen, with my 4 children . It was crowded but we made the best of it. This time we opted for the 1 bedroom apt. It was roomy, for the most part clean. and it was quiet.( I was in the room that... more

This place is DISGUSTING. Worst place I have ever stayed in my life. The crowd was white trash. Partying all night long. Cursing, fighting, loud music, banging on walls. For $215 a night for an oceanview room, I couldn't even open my blinds because there was absolutely NO privacy. The bed was disguisting. Had to sleep with my beach towels... more

We arrived at the Sandy Shore Hotel to find that the "King Bed Ocean View room" we had reserved was not available due to a "water leak". Nobody had called us or emailed us to let us know there was a problem (I had called them directly to make the reservation). The room they wanted to give us had no... more

This motel is fairly good for its price (we went in off season). The staff was cordial and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. the view was amazing from our window. The only thing that was not so great was the sheets. they had cigarette burns and looked old. But the view from my room and the balcony... more

Hubby & I (mid 40"s) stayed 2 nights at this motel for Memorial Day weekend. The motel was better then we expected being this is a beach area. Our one bed king room (#31) was in the center of the first floor (actually on the second level as there are no rooms on the ground level), we had a window... more

I recently stayed at the Sandy Shore and the place was amazing. The view from the room was excellent, as well as the room itself. The staff was great! They did everything in their power to make our stay and enjoyable one. The biker bar across the street is a little noisy but at my request the security guard went... more

We just returned from a weekend at this hotel. Misquamicut is a lovely area & the beaches are clean & welcoming. The hotel appears to be in Ok condition, but they seems to cater to a younger college age quasi drunk crowd. When we first arrived, we sat by the beach & some 20+ kids were angry & cursing about just... more
