We recently stayed at the Pleasant View Inn and really enjoyed it. You can't beat the view of the ocean and if you get a room overlooking the ocean with a small balcony, it is really nice. Very overpriced for what you get. Brochure is very deceptive. Staff is indifferent. Drinks were cheap -- $5. Very crowded. Hallways are dank, musty, and dark. Two people in our family just stayed here this last week for a few days and spent one day in the local hospital with food poisoning. Was it the tuna salad or the ceasar salad? I hope the local board of health will look into this because that is no way to spend a vacation! more
