The hotel is in midst of an upgrade. The view is tremendous. Most of the staff are very friendly, helpful & courteous. The rooms are large & clean. This is our second visit & we look forward to returning in January. The Dine & Stay value is tremendous. The restaurant serves delicious food. more

We stayed here moving our son into URI. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Great value and great service. The entire staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was a complete pleasure. Our room was spacious and clean and we had a great view of the beach - not to mention free parking and a complimentary continental breakfast. We're looking forward to coming back - again. more

While we had a great weekend overall (we loved the beach) we were not thrilled with the hotel. This place has a few things going for it. It's close to the beach, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the showers are AWESOME... but... the hotel was clean and comfortable with plenty of free parking. the outdoor patio bar over looking the beach was very casual.I really enjoyed the complimentary coffee and continental breakfast every morning also the ease of going to Newport and Block island ferry. Village Inn is a simple beach hotel - nothing fancy; but very clean, perfect location, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Love this hotel! The staff is absolutely fantastic and the views are amazing. We were shooting a TV show in Narragansett and had crew members staying at the hotel for over 3 months.
