We stayed at the Old Point Inn for a long weekend. The location cannot be beat. The hospitality is great at the inn and in the town. The breakfast is fabulous. Our room was wonderful. My first trip to Beaufort was for a friends wedding. Found this charming inn on the web and the virtual tour was right on target. This seems to be a bit of a hidden gem in Beaufort. The Old Point Inn is slightly off of the main drag, but in easy walking distance of downtown and the sites. Being off of the main drag was a benefit to us. You can see the river from the porch, there is virtually no traffic going past the... more
