My husband and I had a wonderful time at Bloomsbury Inn. The antebellum home has been beautifully restored and is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and talking to Bruce and Catherine. They seemed like old friends. The gourmet breakfast was delicious! Would highly recommend Bloomsbury.

It was just a quick overnight trip this time but Bruce and Katherine can find a way to make it so pleasnat. The inn is so nice, the service OUTSTANDING, and the breakfast just tops it all off. I have stayed here before and plan on making it the return place! You feel so welcome and comfortable from the minute... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time during the four days we spent at Bloomsbury Inn. The house and contents are very special, and the grounds are delightful. Katherine and Bruce are charming, attentive and entertaining hosts. The gourmet breakfasts were delicious, and the conversation was stimulating, especially during the early evening get-togethers on the veranda. We greatly enjoyed... More

My husband and I recently spent a night at Bloomsbury Inn with Katherine and Bruce Brown and it was a delightful experience from the early evening social to the spectacular breakfast that Katherine made the next morning. Everyone should have some of her cantaloupe soup! The house is so beautiful outside and in with antiques everywhere you look. The Browns... More

My daughter and I spent a recent Friday night at Bloomsbury after we each had experienced a stressful week at our jobs. We were looking forward to our stay and getting some much-needed rest. We could not have chosen a better or more beautiful, relaxing B&B than Bloomsbury. Everything we had read about it was true, and Bruce and Katherine... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent overnight at the Bloomsbury Inn. Katherine and Bruce Brown are great hosts and the house is spectacular. If you are passing through the Camden area, be sure to book a room at the Bloomsbury.

As if the history and scenery were not enough, Katherine and Bruce made the stay the best ever out of an 8 day vacation. Katherine cooks like nobody's business. You will really enjoy breakfast and the wine and cheese social on the porch. The home is enriched by the history, which Bruce can recite perfectly. If you are going to... More

Attending a jazz festival AND spending the week-end with your best friends - could it get much better? Y-E-S is the answer! This was our first experience at Bloomsbury and we cannot say enough good things about the beautiful grounds, the Inn or the Innkeepers, Katherine and Bruce Brown. Southen hospitality was at its finest and displayed in every caveat... More

Katherine and Bruce Brown exemplify the best in B&B hosts, they make you feel like family from the moment you step out of your car. The Inn is steeped in history and beauty! If that isn't enough, the breakfast (which was scrumptious and carried us through to supper time) and the wine & cheese social on the front porch, just... More

What a privilege to have stayed in this beautiful antebellum mansion so full of history and charm. Katherine and Bruce are the perfect hosts - welcoming, attentive, and passionate about their house and it's illustrious past. We so enjoyed our wine and cheese social on the porch overlooking a riot of azaleas in full bloom. Breakfast was delicious and Bruce's... More
