We loved our stay at the Elliott house, the room was so unique and a perfect example of historic Charleston’s history and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The courtyard was beautiful, with its variety of greenery and birds, very relaxing atmosphere in a busy city. We can’t wait to go back!!! more

This inn looks great online but watch out...the window didn't open, the room was very small and very dark, there was no closet (just a small armoire), there were holes in the sheets and the bathroom was not clean. The worst part was the wedding which took place outdoors at the museum right near the inn, late into the night.... more

According to our guidebook, Elliott House was one of the lower priced hotels in Charleston. Even so, we thought that $180/night would bring a nice room and excellent service.
