After booking Lowndes Grove for our honeymoon, we were highly disappointed in the location and upkeep of the house. The pictures on the website must have been taken years ago when the house was initially "redone". Lowndes Grove is beautiful as are the guest rooms in the Main House (I did not see the Carriage House rooms). The owner/host was very accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere and heritage are a given with this historic B&B. The house and grounds are beautiful. This place was great. Sitting on the the top floor veranda and hearing taps played at the military academy across the way was magical. I feel in love with this place the moment we arrived and I can't wait to return!!! Props to the "chef" who supplied us with the best french toast ever! more
