Overall a good experience. Very nice and relatively new, this hotel is about 10 - 15 minutes from downtown Charleston so you must have a car if you are going to stay here. It was much more affordable than the hotels downtown and very nice. To be honest, it was nice to escape downtown each evening. Breakfast was standard for... more

Great Hotel - very clean, quiet and courteous. Hotel is in a great location with easy access to shops, restaurants and waterway. Very close to bike paths where you can run, bike or rollerblade. Price was good for location and room. more

We stayed at this Hampton on our first trip to SC. Our trip was great and we were impressed with Charleston. This hotel suited us fine (even though it is a bit out of the way) because we had rented a car. In addition, it was more affordable than the places in town and probably of equal value. After staying... more

Fabulous staff with great southern hospitality. Location couldn't be better if you're checking out Daniel Island or interviewing at one of the companies nearby. About a 20 minute drive for Charleston proper. Grocery store and restuarants around the corner. Great free breakfast. Suites have a full kitchen which came in handy. more

My husband stays at this property often as he does business with one of the Daniel Island companies and is a graduate of the Bishop England High School located there. He was a native of the area, so we go back often. I tell you this, so that you'll know this review is authentic. When you select a hotel in... more

I love staying at Hampton Inns, but I have to say that this one had a few problems. We booked two nights, but left after one because of the mosquitos. Now this is not the hotel's fault, but I just wanted to let people know about it. Mosquito's are prevalent in South Carolina, but due to this hotel's location -... more

Our family of 18 stayed here for a weekend trip to Charleston. The rooms were great - updated and clean. The staff was wonderful - from helping us arrange our reservations to getting the afternoon cookies out to the waiting crowd and helping us find something to do when our boat ride was rained out (bowling!), they were so friendly... more

This is a new Hotel in a new area which is very upmarket but it is well outside Charleston which did not suit us - we like a drink in the evening so a downtown hotel would have suited our needs better - but if thats not your need then you cannot fault this Hotel- there is a shuttle bus... more

This is a newer Hampton Inn, and the furniture, etc. showed the newness. It is a lovely property with the usual Hampton Inn features, such as a large sink area and included breakfast. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the pillows met our desired level of softness. A refrigerator would have been a nice addition to the... more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and really liked it. It was great to get out of Charleston which can get very busy and expensive. The hotel is close to the freeway and is easy to find. It is a very new hotel and has been completed to a high standard. It was good value for money. Don't... more
