The hotel staff is the BEST from the front desk to the houskeepers and especially the manager. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and there is a free trolley accross the street. What more could you ask for?? I would definitely stay here again More

This is the perfect place to stay! Right across the street from Charleston Visitor Center and free shuttles that will take u all over Charleston. Rooms are large and you have the home feeling that all Hampton Inns impart. Great places to dine within 1 block! Restaurant menus available in lobby. ENJOY! We did. More

We stayed here for 2 nights before we went to house in Edisto. The hotel was clean and accommodating as most Hampton Inns are. The breakfast was good and the porch out back was nice to sit on. Overall, no complaints. More

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Our first visit to Charleston. The room was typical Hampton Inn. Average size, very clean and very convenient to downtown Charleston. Free trolly to downtown is practically outside the front door. Easy walking distance to King Street and lots of restaurants. The only negative (besides the $12/night parking) was the incessant noise... More

I have visited Charleston several times and have always stayed at more upscale hotels. I was a bit nervous about staying at a Hampton Inn but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is within walking distance of all the historic sites I was interested in. Plus, there is now a free trolley service that stops very close to the hotel and... More

The hotel is in a good location; adjacent to visitor's center, near trolley stop as well as easy walking to shops, museums and restaurants. The service was great, especially the two delightful bellmen- Curtis and Henry. The rooms were very clean and the QUEEN size beds and pillows were so, so very comfortable! I love the fact that they provide... More

We stayed at this hotel due to the convenient location to great restaurants in Charleston. We were not disappointed by the location. The room was bigger than we expected. We did use the parking garage located right next to the property. The staff were very friendly and admitted how much they loved working at this hotel. There are some excellent... More

We've cisited Charleston many times and always use this hotel as our home base. Location is perfect for walking to sites, shopping, tours, restaurants, everything you'd want to do and see downtown. Additionally you have all of the "practical and value-centric" benefits of a Hampton Inn, with nice rooms, friendly staff, free "breakfast", and a nice little courtyard with pool.... More

We chose the hotel based on other reviews and location to the places we wanted to visit and because unlike many hotels it had queen sized beds. The location was very good - the three free trolleys stopped right outside and it was a nice walk into the historic centre of town. Both meeting and harleston museum and a short... More

Upon pulling up to the valet stand the excellent service started. We didn't really need help with our bags, so the valet said to just leave our car there and go check in. We went to the front desk and Peter was so accomodating. PERFECT service and you could just tell he "cared". We asked for dinner recommendations and he... More
