A pretty place and a good location for the market area, etc. Can't get a cup of coffee before 7 AM, and the maid didn't leave enough tissues/toilet paper -- a real annoyance at these rates. I can't say enough about this hotel. The rooms were beautiul, the staff was friendly and attentive from the valet/bellman that greeted us, to the front desk staff, to the concierge. Since 2005, when we discovered it, we always stay at this wonderful hotel, usually 3 or 4 times a year. The staff is always friendly and helpful and knows us by name. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. Every September I take my mom on a trip for her birthday and this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. I am from the Chicago area and we have some of the finest hotels around. They can however be somewhat stuffy and stuck up.... more
We typically stay at Charleston Place 4-5x per year. My wife decided we should try something new and we chose Market Pavillion. The hotel itself is very polished. The rooms are nicer than at Charleston Place. However, the "club level" is very limited in comparison to Charleston Place. I must admit Charleston place has one of the best "club level"... more
