Couldn't wish for more. Hospitality, friendliness and cleanliness. We enjoyed every minute and felt very much at home. Room was spacious, super-clean, furnished with lovely antiques, and was very comfortable. The bathroom was new and furnished with European-style fixtures, including a rain-shower head in the corner shower. The off-street parking was very nice to have since the home is so close to the battery. The host family is very friendly and offered use of their piazzas to guests.... more
