We stayed 5 nights and was very pleased with our accommodations. The hotel has been updated. It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection including biscuits and gravy. The eating area had quite a few tables. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It is in a very good location, just... more

Where do I begin... It was the kind of a room that makes you walk with feet curled and check bed for bed bugs (there weren't any). The carpet was sticky, the bathroom's tile grout was black around the toilet, every corner had some accumulation of grime and dust. One day, we came back to our room and our bathroom... more

If you read the other reviews as I did before I went on my trip you will see that this hotel gets a bad rap. The hotel first of all is 2 seperate buildings... an older motel where you enter your room from the outside and the newer hotel that you enter from the main lobby. If you are looking... more

We got a "3" star from priceline which be careful this is not a 3 star hotel. The rooms are basic the breakfest sucks, just cereal. Don't bother requesting a riverview room all you will see is yachts, no water. The ladies at the front desk were fantastic, very helpful with directions and also things for the kids to do.... more

Don't expect anything special. Plain, average, third tier stay. Rooms are below average, but not so bad to make you pack up and leave. On the possitive side, my stay was cheap, about $62 a night including tax (one of those on-line services). For that price, no gripes. The location is great, on the river so you can walk out... more

We stayed at the hotel over the Labor Day weekend. Since we were driving from Alabama to Charleston, and had a fairly late start, we knew we probably would be arriving after midnight. So, despite the fact that I had already made the reservation, with a confirmation, guaranteed with a credit card and everything, I decided to play it safe,... more

First of all, the view and location of this hotel is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was ok but not enough food to accomodate a large group. The room was completely no frills. No refrig, no microwave....for a 3 star hotel (as labeled by Hotwire.com) this was quite surprising. The room was clean and... more

We stayed here 3 nights. Wanted to avoid the expensive downtown hotels. It was a good choice money-wise and location-wise. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good. The main problem was the cramped room (we had 2 kids and 1 infant) and the big gaping hole at the bottom of the main room door which brought in noise. more

Location is quite good close to the water. But the rooms are very average and not super clean - our bathroom was yucky. Noisy airconditioning. Also avoid California Dreaming - not worth it at all. more
