I chose this hotel based on the positive reviews I've read, combined with the fact that it was more reasonable than the King Charles Inn and Andrew Pinckney Inn, among others. And I'm so glad I did because my family just loved it! Our room (105) was toward the end of the building, and it was nice being able to... more

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at the Indigo Inn. It was so unique and epitomized everything I loved about Charleston. From the lovely furnishings, and beautiful garden courtyard with fountains, to the helpful and friendly staff. I delighted in hunt breakfast and evening refreshments in the courtyard and was very comfortable in my room. more

We stayed two nights at the Indigo Inn a couple of weeks ago (March) and absolutely loved it! The staff is fantastic, particularly two of the gentleman who operate the front desk. Each went out of his way to help us with questions we had (finding a laudromat, how long it would take to drive somewhere) and items we needed... more

Once again, another great stay. We booked for ourselves and my inlaws - they loved it as well. Very clean and quiet. Great location right near the market area. Parking on site. Nice breakfast included. Love the courtyard - an inviting place to sit out, without having to leave the inn. Have stayed in a number of other places in... more

We just returned from Charleston and then St Augustine. Want to thank trip advisor as always for helping me plan trip, love this site. The indigo Inn was wonderful. The rooms were charming with plenty of space, very clean and Charlestonish if that's a word. The courtyard is beautiful even though it was freezing cold when we were there, I... more

we got the brochure for this inn from the SC Welcome Center, and were extremely happy with our stay. Price was fabulous {Sun and Mon nights}; but it is the staff that really shine at this place. Everyone was very nice, cordial, and happy to help with any request. I would hope to visit again and again. You won't be... more

This was our 2nd stay at Indigo Inn. Loved it the first time and loved it the second time. Dog friendly with a great central location to all shopping and restaurants. Walked everywhere and never took vehicle anywhere during our stay. Breakfast totally rocks and hope they NEVER change it. Always plentiful, always good. Love the pastries. Coffee, water, juice,... more

We spent three nights at the Indigo Inn, and enjoyed our stay very much. The location is excellent, two blocks from the market, and walking distance to almost everything. Our room was large, beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable, with a large walk-in closet. I also liked the fact that the sink and vanity area were separate from the toilet and... more

A friend and I stayed two nights at the Indigo Inn during a girl’s getaway. When we first arrived we both felt a little nervous about the shabby chic appearance of the wood paneled lobby. But when we arrived at our room we found it beautifully furnished with 2 queen-sized four poster beds with matching dresser and armoire. It was... more

My wife & I stayed at the Indigo Inn for 3 nights in mid September 2007. The location is excellent - very close to the market, restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We were on the ground floor and our room opened into the interior courtyard which has no roof so you get... more
