We spent three nights at the Indigo Inn, and enjoyed our stay very much. The location is excellent, two blocks from the market, and walking distance to almost everything. Our room was large, beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable, with a large walk-in closet. I also liked the fact that the sink and vanity area were separate from the toilet and... more

A friend and I stayed two nights at the Indigo Inn during a girl’s getaway. When we first arrived we both felt a little nervous about the shabby chic appearance of the wood paneled lobby. But when we arrived at our room we found it beautifully furnished with 2 queen-sized four poster beds with matching dresser and armoire. It was... more

My wife & I stayed at the Indigo Inn for 3 nights in mid September 2007. The location is excellent - very close to the market, restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We were on the ground floor and our room opened into the interior courtyard which has no roof so you get... more

I have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. I took my sister for her birthday. The hotel is in a great location for the downtown area...shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast was included and was very good and plentiful. The evening drinks and snacks were a nice touch...it was lovely to sit in the... more

We came across Indigo Inn while searching for available rooms in Charleston. The exterior does not give an indication of the quality of room inside, but we were very pleasantly surprosed by the lrge room size, separate sink area, beautiful interiors, cleanliness & friendly staff. Breakfast included was very satisfactory. Little sandwiches, fresh fruit, bagels, & much more. THe courtyard... more

My husband and I made a quick getaway to Charleston, based on Tripadvisor reviews (never leave home without it!). It is hard to find a decent hotel in Charleston under $200.00, but we did at The Indigo Inn. We stayed Friday and Saturday for $143.00 a night. Included wine (a very fruity chilled?? red and a chablis) cheese and crackers,... more

It was difficult to find a place to stay in downtown Charleston with two little dogs for under $200, but we found it here. The staff was friendly, hospitable, and happy to recommend as well as call to make reservations at a few of Charleston's best restaurants. The room was generous in size and nicely decorated. The furniture felt "lived... more

We stayed there for 4 nights. We really liked the location. It was close to several restaurants and was within walking distance of most of the things we wanted to see. They had a free breakfast and snack/wine bar. The food was good but it was pretty much the same thing every day. We actually went somewhere else for breakfast... more

My husband and I stayed at the Indigo Inn for 2 nights in July. The inn is in an excellent location. You can walk to the market and restaurants on East Bay street very quickly. Our room was very nice. the air conditioning unit was wonderful and the beds were very comfortable (this is very important to me!) Wine and... more

We stayed here for 2 nights with 4 friends. The rooms were pretty but outside was shabby and in places dirty ,there was a terrble smell of the toilets next to our breakfast table and no other table to move to. The staff were lovely and helpful but would not return as it needs updating badly more
