This is a nice, historic feeling hotel, right in the middle of everything. Out the front door is the shopping district. Around the corner is 82 Queen, and Poogan's Porch. Out the back door, 1 block away is Diane's (good night time spot for some drinks and live music), and the Historic Market (outdoor market, carriage tours, candy shops, etc,... more

The Victoria House Inn has to be Charleston’s best keep secret. It is in a great location, you are right in the middle of downtown Charleston surrounded by all of the great restaurants and nightlife. My husband and I spent a long weekend at the Inn to celebrate the first anniversary of our first date. It's probably my favorite B&B. We had a petite suite and it was very luxorious. We just visited the Victoria House Inn for an anniversary trip to Charleston. Our room was nice (I loved the beautiful paint color) and appeared clean. Not big, not small. There are no common areas at the inn, so you really are just paying for a room. It's not the bed and breakfast experience of some of the other family... more

My sister and I stayed over last weekend at the Victoria House Inn, at her recommendation. She had previously stayed there with her husband, and we were not disappointed this time either. I thought the Victoria House was a great Inn. The rooms are beautiful and large. Its in a great location, very near to the shops. There is some noise from the street at night, but it does not take away from the Inn's charm. I would stay there again. more
