This is a good hotel for the price. They had a great little, southern style breakfast that my family enjoyed for 3 straight days. Unlike other hotels we stayed at, the food never ran out and the hotel was pretty full. I was impressed at how the staff continually re-filled the food and beverages. We probably saved a least $100 by... more

Whether you are in on biz or know someone who is off to Charleston, SC, I recommend staying at Comfort Inn Coliseum should you need a place to simply hang your hat & looking to economize on your lodging. It's not far from airport at all, and not a long drive from historic downtown Charleston! GM Marlissa Storey played a... more

I used my points to book at the last minute here and had no problems whatsoever with my reservation or check in The staff including front desk , maintenance and breakfast attendant were all very helpful and courteous. Our room was a little small but was clean and seemed to have been recently remodeled. The A/C was VERY cold and... more

I stayed in this hotel this past weekend (Nov 16th and 17th 2008). I had the worst experience ever. The first night we pulled back the comforter to notice some type of DRIED BLOOD on the comforter so we removed that from the bed. The next morning we had roaches in our room. I had enough. I called the front... more

We were told to book through the national number from the property so we did. Around noon on day of arrival, we called to see when we should check in. They told us our room was ready and we could check in any time that we wanted. Upon arrival around 9:00 p.m., they initially told us that they had no... more

We were there on a ministerial trip and had 5 rooms for our group. From the first day we had problems. It took almost 1 1/2 hours to be checked in completely. Two of the five rooms were being worked on and/or painted and the front desk had no idea that the work was being done. Of those two they... more

I chose the Comfort Inn in January2007. When I checked in at 1a.m. I asked for a late checkout being that I had been traveling for a very long time and it was very late that I was checking in. I was told by the clerk I could have a late checkout as late as 2pm without being charged. She... more

We were in town for the Cooper River Bridge Run and decided to save some money by staying a little farther from downtown than usual. Hotel is really only a 10-15 minute drive from the visitors center. Upon arrival we stood and waited 15 minutes while the desk attendent took several calls... including one from his mom. Lobby was generally... more

When we arrived, the service was terribly slow and unprofessional.. Then we arrived in our room only to find we had no towels, the mircowave and refridgerator were filthy and the lights didnt work. I called and reported these things and the staff (looking very unprofessional in street clothes) came in the maintenance man repaired the lights but the poor... more

When I checked in I found my room had not even been cleaned. There were 2 opened beer cans on the microwave, a dirty towel on the floor, a dirty towel on the bathroom floor & open soap & shampoo in the shower. I let the front desk know & also told them that although the bed was made to... more
