I stayed at this hotel a few years ago. As I recall, the inside of the hotel was quite decent. However, the hotel is REALLY close to a set of railroad tracks, and trains seem to come through town several times in the night. We stayed here for convienence. Never again. We asked for a non-smoking room. The room stunk to high heaven. It was masked by Pine-Sol, which made the smell even nastier. Left other motel in Clemson for Sleep Inn. Much better experience. Needed smoking room, so had 3rd fl room. Occasional train passed by, but not terrible inconvenience. Great walk-in shower with ceiling light. Very nice room lighting. Clean. Have stayed there twice. more
