Stayed here because of nephew's military graduation and it was close to the base. Room is well worn and just gave us a dirty feeling. This is an excellent hotel to stay in when attending military graduation ceremonies at Ft. Jackson. The rooms were clean, the staff extremely helpful, and even the free breakfast was good. The hotel is just a short drive from Ft. Jackson's visitor's gate, and close to numerous restaurants and shopping areas. I highly recommend this hotel. more

I think it is pretty crappy that a hotel would be overbooked and not contact you until you arrive from out of state at their property when they had already confirmed your reservation.
