I stayed at this hotel 3 times this summer and enjoyed it every time. Don't understand the negative reviews at all. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast and short order cook was a definite plus, the staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. The location to the university was perfect. The Inn is adjacent to the U. of South Carolina campus, which is where many conferences are held. It is a short walk to the state capitol and a 15-20 minute walk to the downtown museums and "The Vista" entertainment and restaurant district. There was nothing memorably, unspeakably atrocious about I@USC. But there were some things that stay in mind four months after my stay which bear negative mention. Free cookies in the lobby?
