They say a picture says 1000 words. Well looking at the photos and going directly to their website, you would certainly consider America's Best in Florence. Here's our advice...DON"T. The rooms were dirty, outdated, uncomfortable. The clientel was sleezy, all smoking (lobby, restaurant, etc), clerk was unfriendly, buildings poorly kept. I stayed at this hotel for about 3 days in March of '08 and enjoyed the experience. While I stayed there I could see the hotel going through some renovations and could see a definite improvement. My room had brand new carpet which was a plus and everything was working fine. I would suggest this hotel to anyone who is... more

Great, affordable inn. We stopped and stayed here during a long road trip and enjoyed our stay. The management was pleasant and the bar and grill was an added convenience. If we are in the area again and need a low-cost hotel to spend the night we will definitely return. more
