When staying here you are basically joining the Shaw family for the evening as you are made to feel so welcome and also due to the fact that, whilst the 3 rooms are all well-sized, there are no fully separated guest areas. I was very impressed with the Shaw House. Our downstairs room was huge, beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Our hosts, Joe and Mary, were eager to answer our questions, give directions and advise on restaurants. We first visited the Shaw House in May 2001 and we loved it the minute we walked through the door. The innkeepers were very hospitable, showing us around the inn and giving us the choice of the 3 rooms.
