Not a bad hotel and was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend it for family members coming from out of town. Breakfast of course is included and was more than adequate. Not a huge breakfast person. If you want an extensive spread with eggs, bacon, omelets and excreta go out eat somewhere. The hotel is not huge... but that is not... more

Stayed in a circular king bed suite with 2 kids and 2 adults for one night. The hotel is very nice, though a little hard to find. Parking costs $6 a night in a city lot that is adjacent to the hotel. The circular room is very unusual and cool, with panoramic views of, well, of Greenville I guess. But... more

stayed here in order to see KD Lang concert in the peace center and proved to be the best location. It is literally a two minute walk across the river to the theater and a list of great restaurants. The whole downtown area is a treat to walk around with Falls Park and the river it is a lovely spot.... more

I stayed a this Hampton during a trade show in town. The hotel has a great location for walking up the tree-lined Main Street (lots of shopping, great food along the way ! ). Is right on the river - close to Falls Park. Room was VERY clean, common areas same, and breakfast was great. Room (and bath) seemed a... more

Beautiful, newer Hampton - convenient to downtown with excellent service & breakfast selection. This hotel is more expensive than most Hamptons, but it's location & ambiance feel like a 5-star. We were particularly impressed with the breakfast - in addition to Hampton's varied selections - hot & cold, they offered a fresh raspberry, strawberry, blackberry mix. A cordial reception &... more

Great location. New hotel. Nice restaurants right next door. Get the king suite - great room. The Westin is a 5 minute walk from here. The hotel is across from the falls and right on the river path. more

My wife and I spent two nights at this property. We opted for this Hampton Inn because it is new, has a great location and was much less pricey than the Hyatt or Westin as a downtown choice. We were not disappointed in our choice. The room we stayed in was large, quiet and well appointed with comfortable beds. The... more

This is a great new location in downtown Greenville South Carolina. I will be staying their again this July. The staff if wonderful and the rooms are spacious and clean. We always stay in a king suite. Breakfast is just O.K., but if you just need juice or coffee it is fine. (There is a Starbuck's real close. ) There... more

One of the best Hampton's in the fleet in one of the best cities in the country. Tremendous downtown and terrific off road greenway--all in walking distance. Great restaurants within 2 blocks of the hotel. Super destination! more

Greenville is a pretty and clean (perhaps too sterile) town. We stayed in the Hampton on Riverplace. This seems to be a fairly new hotel and we had a great room with a balcony. Just be sure to avoid the "Lazy Goat" Restaurant below. The menu is far too ambitious and the dishes we chose failed miserably. Far better eating... more
