Everything you'd expect from a standard Hilton resort property. The rooms were clean, but not perfect. The walls reeeally needed to be wiped down. This hotel is maybe a three-star hotel on a good day. Unfortunately, we weren't there on a good day. The Hilton was 100% occupied when we were there and the support staff was obviously overwhelmed. We booked 2 nights for our 30th anniversary ($79/Hotwire). Everything was lovely-the room with its kingbed and 9 pillows, thick towels in the bathroom, plenty of coffee supplies. The landscaping was lushfully green, the azaleas and dogwoods were blooming. The view to the ocean, the sunrise and the quiet beach were almost spiritual and heartwarming. We were booked for a trip to stay at the Hilton Oceanfront on hilton head over Easter Break. Sadly, we were scheduled to fly out the morning of the huge Good Friday blizzard here.
