I spent a week here with friends from Myrtle beach who have a timeshare and it was a lovely experience.We had a 3 bed/3 bathroom condo which overlooked a golf course and directly in front of the swimming pool..Bikes were great and it was just 5 minutes ride to the beach.Pathways were great also for cycling although the sand gnats(midges)... We have stayed at Southwind II three times in the past years. This September 2012 was wonderful. Check-in was so friendly and very efficient. We just returned from our second stay at Southwind in Shipyard on HHIsland. The resort bent over backward to help our family enjoy themselves despite 4 out of 5 days of rainy weather, we had the best time. This was one of the best places we have stayed on Hilton Head. The rooms were very clean and with a lot of space. We were overlooking the golf course and a lagoon.
