We really enjoyed our week at Adventure Inn. The "resort" is smaller, but beachfront which is very hard to find at a reasonable rate at Hilton Head. We booked a 1 br through our timeshare, it was quite cozy, especially the bedroom, full or qn size no walk room. Small bathroom was ok but no A/C vent- it was very... more
The Adventure Inn is a dump. I think the Myrtle Beach crowd has migrated south and overtaken it. The rooms are dilipidated and everything looks shabby except for the main entrance/ lobby. I refused to stay there after I saw the oceanfront room I had booked. more
I took my 7 year old niece to the Adventure Inn for July7 4th Week. We booked this place because of the location-- right on the beach and near Coligny Circle. We had a great view from our room. We didn't expect a lot -- basically a clean place to stay while we had fun at the pool and beach.... more
I have been going to Hilton Head since 1976. Adventures Inn is not the fanciest place on the Island but the price is right and the location is perfect. Nothing is better then the large Oak by the Pool with great shade. Yes, it is not the Ritz or Palmento Dunes, or Sea Pines but it is a great place... more
The Adventure Inn is a management company that books for several of the condos in the South Forest Beach area. If you want to stay there book a one or two bedroom unit in the Ocean Dunes Bldg. The main bldg is directly on the ocean and the second is ocean view facing the pool. The ocean view bldgs are... more
Just returned from a week at Ocean Club condos which I booked thru Adventure Inn. I didnt know that A Inn booked about a dozen buildings. Every unit seems to be privately owned so there is not a minimum level of upkeep. We paid $1400 for a week. 2 bedr, 2 bath. I was told it had a side ocean... more
We booked the Adventure Inn thinking the place would be nice. Boy, were we ever disappointed. Our oceanfront room at the Adventure Inn was filthy. The towel bar in the bathroom was broken. The carpet hadn't been cleaned in what looked like years. The room was very damp and badly affected our daughter who has asthma. We stayed awake the... more
I used the Adventure Inn website to book a place at Seaside Villas. I had stayed there before so I knew it was decent. Adventure Inn also offers their own villas but I was worried they might not be as nice. Anyway, Seaside was nice, as usual, but Adventure Inn stuck me way in the back of the complex where... more
When we were starting to plan our trip in March, we were originally looking at hotels in the $180/night range. A friend of ours, who lives on the island, suggested we look into the Adventure Inn. At $100/night, I was a little concerned about the quality but those concerns turned out to be unwarranted. Our room was really a 1-bedroom... more
